Knee Deep in the Snow Photo Contest

 

Official Rules

  1. CONTEST PERIOD

The Swix "Knee Deep in the Snow" Photo Contest (the “Contest”) begins on February 14, 2025, at noon and ends on February 20, 2025, at 11:59 PM (ET) (the “Contest Period”).

  1. ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, representatives, and agents of Swix Canada, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, and advertising/promotional agencies, as well as their immediate family members and those with whom they reside, are not eligible to enter.

  1. HOW TO ENTER

To enter the Contest, participants must:

  1. Take a photo showcasing them taking part in winter activities in the fresh snow.
  2. Submit the photo through the Swixsport.ca form with:
    • Full name
    • Phone number
    • Email
    • Shipping address

There is no purchase necessary to enter. One entry per person.

  1. PRIZES

A total of five (5) winners will be selected based on creativity, originality, and how well the image represents the spirit of winter sports. Each winner will receive a Swix Winter Hat (approximate retail value: $50.00 CAD).

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable. Swix Canada reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

  1. WINNER SELECTION & NOTIFICATION
  • The Swix team will review all eligible entries and select five (5) winners.
  • Winners will be notified by phone within 10 business days after the Contest Period ends.
  • Winners must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize and answer a skill-testing question. If a winner does not respond within this time frame, Swix Canada reserves the right to select an alternate winner.
  1. CONSENT & PHOTO USAGE

By submitting a photo, participants grant Swix Canada a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, reproduce, and publish their photos on Swix’s social media platforms, website, and marketing materials.

Photos will not be shared with third parties or used for commercial sale.

Participants agree that Swix Canada may feature their name alongside their submitted photo if selected.

  1. PRIVACY POLICY

Personal information collected (name, phone number, email, and mailing address) will be used to administer the contest, deliver prizes, and send marketing communications from Swix Canada.

  1. GENERAL CONDITIONS
  • By entering this contest, participants agree to receive marketing communications from Swix Canada. They can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails.
  • Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Swix Canada, which are final.
  • Swix Canada is not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, or incomplete entries.
  • The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws.
  • Swix Canada reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Contest if unforeseen circumstances arise.
